This divinely different little bear is the spectacular 'Miss Aurora Starburst'! She was a commissioned bear that just didn't turn out the way her commissioning collector imagined, so she is now looking for a forever home with a new family. 

She has been created from one of our unique hand-dyed ooak pieces of rainbow alpaca fur with gently blending colours. We've used a little of the original raw white alpaca for her cheeks to give a little pop of contrast. (Alpaca fur is NOT a leather product - this is just alpaca hair fibre that has been clipped like wool is shorn from sheep, and woven onto a strong cotton backing. It is one of the most luxurious fabrics for making heirloom teddy bears, and has an incredible density and softness to its feel). 

Due to the quirkiness of this design, Aurora is not the best at standing on her own unassisted (she has super long, finely tapered limbs and a rather portly belly!), but she sits beautifully with her long arms in her lap and her petite little feet fanning out on either side.

She looks out through a pair of our hand-painted glass eyes in a stunning sparkling crystal-blue with hand-sculpted eyelids and long dramatic lashes. She has a hand embroidered purple perle cotton nose and her foot pads are made from a matching purple faux cashmere, and feature our 3D shaped pulled toe detailing. We have also given her hand-painted Inktense shading to her paws and face.

Aurora wears a simple turquoise and silver-tone pendant around her neck. She is a one of a kind artist bear.
